Seller levels: how your platform fee goes down

The more you have earned with us, the smaller our cut. Levels move automatically on lifetime earnings, and your badge shows on your profile and on every item you list.

The ladder

LevelLifetime earnedYou keep
Newcomer$070%
Rising Seller$50073%
Established Seller$2,50076%
Expert Seller$10,00080%
Signature Seller$50,00085%

How the threshold is measured

On lifetime earnings, meaning your share after the platform fee, added up across everything you have ever sold here. Not turnover, and not any single year. Your dashboard shows how far along you are and what the next level needs.

Levels do not go down

Lifetime earnings only accumulate, so a quiet quarter cannot cost you a level you have already reached. Nothing resets annually.

Your existing sales are not recalculated

Every sale records the rate it was sold at. Climbing a level improves what you earn from that point on, and nothing reaches back to change what you already earned, in either direction.

What the badge does

It appears next to your name on your store and on every item. For a buyer choosing between two similar items, it answers the question they actually have, which is whether the person who will be answering their support questions has done this before and is still here.

If you are on a negotiated rate

Some sellers have a custom rate. If that is you, your rate stays where it is and your badge still moves with your earnings, so a special arrangement is never quietly replaced by the standard ladder.
