Seller tips

One big item, or several small ones

You have six months. You can build one substantial item or four modest ones. Both are reasonable and they are not the same business.

The case for one big item

Higher price, fewer buyers, and each buyer worth more. Support is concentrated in one codebase you know deeply. A single strong item can carry a store, and the top of most categories is one big item rather than several small ones.

The case for several small ones

Four items is four listings, four sets of search terms and four chances to be found. If three underperform and one takes off, you have learned which direction to go, which one big item never tells you.

The support maths is the real difference

Four items means four inboxes, four changelogs and four compatibility matrices. Sellers underestimate this consistently. A big item at four times the price generates nothing like four times the support load.

What actually decides it

How well you know the market. If you have sold in this category before and know exactly what is missing, build the big one. If you are guessing, build small and let buyers tell you where the demand is before you commit six months.

The compromise that works

One substantial item, then smaller companions that extend it. Each is findable on its own, and each sale of a companion is a buyer already inside your ecosystem.
