What is a purchase code and where do I find it?
A purchase code is the key that proves a copy of an item is genuine. Some items ask for it the first time you install them, and check it with us before they run.
Where yours is
Next to the item in My licences. Each licence has its own code, so if you bought three items you have three codes, and if you bought two licences for the same item you have two.
What it is for
It lets the seller confirm the installation belongs to somebody who actually paid, without the seller ever seeing your account or your payment details. The code maps to one licence, so it also tells them which tier you hold and whether your support is still running.
Treat it like a password
Anyone holding your purchase code can activate your licence. Do not paste it into a public forum, a GitHub issue, or a screenshot in a comment on the item page. If a seller needs it to help you, send it through the support request attached to your purchase, not somewhere public.
If a code stops working
Usually the licence has been activated on more installations than it allows, which happens when a site is rebuilt or moved without deactivating the old copy. Ask the seller through item support to reset your activations. If you think the code has been used by somebody else, tell us and we will look at the activation history on it.
